September School Holiday Workshop

Roll up! Roll up! Come and join our circus workshops for an hour or a day and learn a range of amazing new skills. Flipside is bringing the circus to town with a fantastic range of workshops to supercharge school holidays. Whether it’s tackling the trapeze or harnessing the hula-hoop, your kids will have a blast at Flipside Circus’ workshops.

No matter what your child’s skill level, Flipside Circus trainers will help them learn new circus skills and give them a chance to show off.

Flipside Circus’s expert trainers work with young people to teach ground and aerial circus skills including juggling and manipulation, hula-hoop, acro-balance, minitrampoline, tumbling, and trapeze.

The workshops are challenging and focus on; building self-confidence, physical skills and fitness, as well as teamwork.

Workshops are designed to suit a variety of ages and skill levels for young people and run from Sunday, 20 - Wednesday, 23 September at the Rockhampton Showgrounds in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion. 

Kindy Camp (single sessions)

Suitable for ages 2-4 years. These little circus stars work side-by-side with parents/caregivers so be prepared to become part of the fun! Daily at 9.30am - 10.15am on Sunday, 20 - Wednesday, 23 September.

Circus Foundations (4 days)

Suitable for ages 5-12 years with no dance or gymnastics experience. Daily 10.30am - 12pm across 4 days (20-23 September)

Circus Intermediate & Advanced (4 days)

Suitable for ages 6-12 years with some experience. Daily at 1pm - 2.30pm across 4 days (20-23 September)
