Helen hardly needs an introduction! Helen James has been creating costumes for many years, having started with dance costumes and then progressing to Musical theatre productions. She has worked as Costume Coordinator or team member on Rockhampton and Gladstone Community productions as well as for several Primary and Secondary schools.
Being involved in this aspect of theatre presents an opportunity to work with a team of like minded people, to produce costumes which help to define and understand a character, in terms of age, status and occupation. Working in this area is sometimes challenging but immensely satisfying when costumes are completed and viewed on stage.
