Cast Announced for Rockhampton Regional Council's 2027 Community Musical, Disney's Frozen
After months of anticipation, Rockhampton Regional Council is delighted to announce the principal cast for its 2027 Community Musical, Disney's Frozen.
The production attracted an outstanding response from the community, with more than 100 performers auditioning for principal, ensemble and vocal ensemble roles. Across three days of auditions and callbacks, performers of all ages showcased their talent, passion and commitment to musical theatre.
Selecting the final cast was no easy task.
The production's Creative Team, Megan, Michael, Lorraine, Jessica, Pat and Darby were faced with the difficult challenge of choosing from an exceptionally strong field of performers.
"We were blown away by both the number of auditions and the quality of talent that came through the doors," the Creative Team said.
"Every performer brought something unique to the audition process. The decisions were incredibly difficult and we're grateful to everyone who shared their time, energy and talent with us."
While only a limited number of roles were available, the audition process highlighted the depth of performing arts talent across the region. The Creative Team encourages all auditionees to continue pursuing opportunities and to audition again for future productions.
The principal cast for Disney's Frozen has been announced as:

The roles of Young Elsa, Young Anna and Sven are double cast.

With the cast and ensembles now confirmed, preparations will soon begin for what promises to be a spectacular season, bringing Disney's beloved story of sisterhood, courage and self-discovery to life on the Pilbeam Theatre stage 2-11 April 2027. Tickets on sale from Monday, 2 November 2026.
