Get ready for a night of unforgettable rock 'n' roll on Saturday 4 July as Lynch Mob Entertainment presents, Rock n Roll Never Forgets - The Bob Seger & Silver Bullets Ultimate Experience at the Pilbeam Theatre. This powerhouse tribute brings the energy, passion, and timeless spirit of Bob Seger to the stage with authenticity, heart, and stellar musicianship.

This world class production is taking audiences on a thrilling journey reliving the timeless hits “Hollywood Nights,” “Night Moves,” “Mainstreet,” “Against the Wind,” and many more popular favourites. Fronting this 9-piece show is Australian country singer Lance Friend, whose dynamic vocals and commanding stage presence have earned widespread respect. Often compared to Seger, Lance brings an unforgettable authenticity to the performance and captures the essence of Seger’s five‑decade influence, echoing the emotional depth and fire that has cemented Segers place in music history.

"Bob Seger is famous for being such a great live performer,” Lance said. "He became famous in the Midwest way before he got popular everywhere else, and it was all due to how great his band were live and the high level of energy that they delivered.”

Born May 6, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Bob Seger began his musical journey in the 1960s later forming the Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band in 1974. Despite having never toured Australasia or far from the U.S, Bob Seger has been one of the most influential figures in the world. With over 75million records sold worldwide, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and numerous accolades, including American Music Awards, Grammy nominations, 13 platinum, 7 multi-platinum and 2 gold records.

Who could forget, Tom Cruise in “Risky Business,” dancing in his socks and underwear? “Old Time Rock and Roll” is widely considered one of the greatest rock songs ever written. His No1 hit song “Shakedown” featured in Beverly Hills Cop II, “Against The Wind” in Forrest Gump and many more still feature often on our own TV screens today.

In 2019, Seger announced his retirement from touring which means this world class two hour show is the only opportunity Australians will have to experience an electrifying live concert event celebrating one of the most iconic voices in American music history.
