The 89th Rockhampton Eisteddfod is a proud community tradition, celebrating the performing arts since 1923. Join us during May to experience the energy and creativity in Speech and Drama, Dance, Vocal, Instrumental and Piano. This much loved event brings talent, passion and dedication to the stage.

Spread across two venues, Pilbeam Theatre and Walter Reid Cultural Center, audiences can enjoy a vibrant program of performances while supporting the next generation of artists and discover the true spirit of the Eisteddfod.

Sessions are being held at the Pilbeam Theatre (Corner Victoria Parade and Cambridge Streets) and Walter Reid Cultural Centre Auditorium (Corner East and Derby Streets).

Season Pass

A Season Pass gives you access to both venues (subject to availability during busy sessions).

Please note that session times do vary, so please check the start time for your desired session before purchasing. Pilbeam Theatre Sessions run 9am, 1:30pm and 6:30pm.

Ticket transaction fees may apply to purchases. Fees are based on your method of payment, delivery and the specific event you are attending.

EITHER a fee of $5.50 per transaction will apply for a booking made with the box office by telephone

OR a fee of $1.75 per ticket will apply for tickets purchased online.
